My Daily Mumbles

 I just landed a job. This is not the usual job I used to have. I am totally new to this. I got so excited at first because it is new but as the training goes by. I find it very difficult. Our assessment will be next week and that's tomorrow Monday and I don't know if I can pass. I will just lift it to my Fate whatever it is, I will just have to take it but I hope I will pass. 

The new generation seems too aggressive nowadays and they are just thinking about things today, they don't think about their future. They don't even know how to save out of their earnings. I have a 21-year-old daughter and I don't know,  it is already hard to get a hold of her. It is hard to control her and to talk to her about what's good for her. She kept on telling me that she already know what was good for her and whatnot. But it is still hard to determine if she already knows those things when her action is contradicting what she was saying.  I think I have done enough for her. She is already 21 years old and it is tiring to keep on telling her about it and at the end of the day, she doesn't seem to listen. I just hope that somehow she knows what to do because if she will do something that I am afraid of, then I might have to let her go. I mean she's already 21 years old, she should know the consequences. 

 I'd been reading this news from these scientists who are stepping forward to encourage us to help saving Earth because it is rapidly dying that we might only have months to live. They are even appealing to the governments all over the world to help them otherwise it will be too late for us to save it. These tips from National Geographic  could help them a little. I hope you will religiously follow them as I will do my best to cooperate.  1. Take a walk - If the destination you are going to is only a walking distance then why not do it. It can't only save gas or your fare expenses, you can get to exercise as well.  2. Fill it up - Of the billions of bottles of water consumed every year, there were only about 30 percent of those bottles are recycled. So most of it were clogged up landfills or wind up in the ocean and will absolutely harm animals. Thus, instead of buying bottled water each day, it would be best to use a reusable water bottle.  3. Covid has been taking a toll on us for two years now and yet some people are still not being very careful. I understand we need to go out, but do you have to bring your babies in the mall or in a crowded area? Look at China now. Shanghai is in lockdown again because of the surge. When can we learn? When can we be extra careful?  Rallies are everywhere. I understand we need to express our support for our candidates, but that does not mean we will not  exercise the social distancing protocol. We still have the COVID virus! For Christ' sake! Our country can't afford to go through a lock down anymore. Our economy is already going downhill. I bet the next president will have to go through needles to make things work when the surge happens again. And of course, there will be protests again, suggestions and complaints and, oh, we are so expert at that.  I hope, even though we are already on level 1, we, still be responsible of our actions. People are now checking for their candidate, some are already decided and some are not. There are a lot of strategies tahat each candidates are showing. Some are doing the negative campaigning, some are laying off their platform, and some are just quietly doing the best that they can to at least show what they can do for our country. This post is not about what I choose to be one, however I encourage people to vote wisely. And to pray for that candidate who will win the next election to be fair and just. I hope that person will be for the people and not for those oligarchs who are trying to do all shits for money. I hope this person knows how to make our economy grow not only for words. I hope this person will realize what he or she promise for us and the country.

It has been a while since we were planning to buy a laptop for my eldest. She has been asking me to buy one that can hold the applications that she has to download. We have laptops at home but my youngest daughter is using one of them for her online class, the other one is already obsolete, it won't allow her to download heavy software applications and the other one which is a netbook, aside from it only has limited storage and the specs could not hold some applications as well, it is busted the flex won't let the monitor stand so I have to have something for the monitor to lean.  It was last Tuesday that we looked around to check if there was any laptop available that will suit our budget. Unfortunately, there is none. I planned to apply for Home Credit so at least it won't be too painful in the pocket since we can pay for instalments but lo and behold, the interest is too huge!
